Time to say “goodbye” to Marcel :-(
Time to say goodbye! After more than 5 years, our guitarist Marcel will unfortunately be leaving us in the summer to pursue new paths. All the best Marcel and thank you for the time together and your commitment to the band! It was a great time with you!
To our great regret, our lead guitarist Marcel will be leaving us in the summer. Due to changes in his personal life, Marcel will no longer be able to play with Darkness Ablaze until further notice. Here you can read his statement:
“I joined DARKNESS ABLAZE as lead guitarist in January 2019, after knowing the band from before and already being a fan of the music back then. Since then we’ve played a few gigs and released two CDs (“Creator” and “It All Shall Burn”). Highlights for me were the release shows for these two CDs and our performance at MetalEnz last December. Unfortunately I have to leave the band this summer after five and a half years for personal reasons. I am proud of what we have achieved together in this time, hope that a successor will soon be found and of course wish the guys all the best for the future. I will still be playing all the shows that are planned until the end of June and would be delighted to see some familiar faces there again.”
